Refund Policy - the basics

At Palmetto Metabolic Health & Metabolic TeleHealth, we strive to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Because our services involve licensed medical providers, clinical decision‑making, and time reserved exclusively for you, the following refund and cancellation terms apply to all appointments, programs, memberships, and digital products.

1. Medical Services Are Non‑Refundable

All payments for telehealth visits, in‑person visits, consultations, follow‑ups, prescription management, and clinical services are non‑refundable once the appointment has begun or a provider has reviewed your chart.

This includes:

Metabolic/weight‑management visits
Primary care visits
Occupational health services
Medication management
Lab review appointments

Reason: Medical services involve professional time, liability, and clinical expertise that cannot be “returned” once delivered.

2. Appointment Cancellation & No‑Show Policy

To protect provider time and ensure availability for all patients:

Cancellations made ≥ 24 hours before the appointment:
No cancellation fee.
Cancellations made < 24 hours before the appointment: A late cancellation fee of $25 will be charged.
No‑shows (missed appointments without notice): A $50 no‑show fee will be charged.
Fees must be paid before scheduling future appointments.
3. Memberships, Programs & Subscriptions
Monthly memberships (including the $10/month membership), metabolic programs, and subscription‑based services are non‑refundable once the billing cycle begins.
You may cancel future billing at any time.
Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund past charges.
Any included visits, discounts, or benefits expire at the end of the paid billing cycle.

4. Digital Products & Educational Materials

All digital products—including guides, downloads, templates, and educational content—are non‑refundable due to immediate access upon purchase.

5. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non‑refundable and not redeemable for cash. They may be used toward any eligible service or product.

6. Provider‑Initiated Cancellations

If Palmetto Metabolic Health must cancel your appointment due to provider illness, emergency, or scheduling conflict:

You may reschedule at no cost, or

Request a full refund if no services were provided.

7. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention

Initiating a chargeback for services rendered may result in:

Suspension of services
Transfer of the account to collections
Legal action to recover owed fees

We encourage patients to contact us directly to resolve concerns before disputing charges.

8. Questions or Concerns

We are committed to fairness and transparency.
